Let’s get one thing straight: the AGITO is not a dolly. The AGITO Gen-2 by Motion Impossible is a modular, remote-controlled camera platform that combines ground-based robotic mobility, telescoping height control, stabilized remote heads, and invisible magnetic tracking into a single operator-controlled system.
The Core supports payloads up to 100kg and moves from 1.5mm/s to 27 mph. The Tower provides dynamic height from roughly 4 feet to over 7 feet, controlled remotely. The ARRI 360 EVO delivers unlimited 360 degree pan, 360 degree roll, and 170 degree tilt. MagTrax enables invisible magnetic tracking for pixel-identical repeatable moves. Commander controls multiple AGITOs simultaneously.
The system uses 900MHz or 2.4GHz FH-DTS radio with reliable control at 250 meters. The camera operator is never physically attached to the camera – the pilot operates everything remotely.
New Vertical: Medical and Surgical Capture
Imagine an AGITO with Tower and ARRI 360 EVO outside the sterile field, operated from the observation gallery. The Tower silently adjusts height as the surgical team repositions. The 360 EVO follows the action with full 360 degree pan and 170 degree tilt without entering the sterile zone. Silent steering actuators produce zero motor noise. MagTrax defines safe paths. Footprint smaller than a wheelchair.
Result: Broadcast-quality surgical documentation from outside the sterile field, operated remotely, with repeatable positions. No cameraman gowning up. No contamination risk. UCXR is actively developing this vertical with clinical partners.
New Vertical: Low-Profile Live Performance Capture
The AGITO with Tower at minimum position sits just over 30 inches tall – lower than a seated audience member. The 360 EVO shoots upward for dramatic low angles impossible with traditional positions. The Tower silently rises and drops during the show. MagTrax delivers the same hero shot every performance, pixel-identical, with zero camera operators visible to the audience.
